Alexander Husebye joined the Centre for Business History in 1990, when it was still called Stockholms Företagsminnen. As newly appointed CEO in 1996, he took the organization through bankruptcy and reconstruction. After that, he has developed the business to become one of the world’s leading business archives.
Anders Sjöman has led the Centre for Business History’s work in history marketing and customer offerings since 2015. He has previously been a communications consultant at Springtime (Stockholm), a case writer at Harvard Business School (Paris) and a development manager at EF Education (Boston). He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
– For three decades, Alexander has developed an operation that is in itself unique in the world, but above all has preserved and enhanced the importance of the Swedish business community for the development of Sweden’s society. As he now retires, we are pleased to be able to recruit his successor from within the organization, to lead the development forward with a firm anchoring in its heritage, says Malin Alfredsson, Chair of the Board.
