For our member companies

The Centre for Business History is a non-profit association, with companies and organizations as members. Maybe your company is a member, maybe it wants to become one? Here are the most common questions about membership in the Centre for Business History.

We are a non-profit association, with companies and organizations as members. Many of them purchase services from our service company. Our financing then builds on both membership fees and service revenues. New members always welcome! Cecilia Klynne will assist you!

More about the membership

The Centre for Business History is politically independent and not affiliated with any organization or university. According to our statutes, we exist to preserve and tell the history of business. (Here are the complete statutes (in Swedish).)

Membership in the association is a prerequisite for purchasing the services offered by our service company. But by doing so, your company also supports our research secretariat, our school activities, and our general work in promoting business history.

Membership fees

The annual fee for membership in the Association Center for Business History consists of

- a VAT-exempt membership fee of 2,000 SEK
- a VAT-liable service fee, deductible in the company's tax declaration and which depends on the member's annual turnover:

Our service desk helps you with all questions you may have about your archive. Get in touch with them.

"We want to send new material to the archive, how do we do that?"

New material to the archives, both physical and digital material, is one of our favorite things. Here's how you do it.

"We want to come for a study visit, maybe also borrow a conference room."

Take your staff group for an inspirational visit - or hold a management team meeting with us. Archive visit included! Cecilia Klynne will help you arrange it.
