The Centre for Business History is a non-profit association - with its own research secretariat. While our wholly owned company offers services to companies, our research secretariat conducts independent research and initiates research preparatory projects. We also have (free) school programs for secondary school. All based on the thousands of archives that we manage.
Research secretariat
The Research secretariat consists of Research Director Anders Houltz, Associate Professor in the History of Technology and Science, and PhD Benito Peix Geldart, researcher and archivist. They are supported by a research council with external experts – and of course all their colleagues at the Centre for Business History. Our research projects are mostly funded by scientific foundations and research foundations.

School activities
For secondary schools - in Swedish: gymnasiet - we offer free class visits focused on source criticism and Swedish business history. On our school site Företagskällan, ready-made lesson materials are available for all high school programs. Both on-site with us and digitally, students can explore business, entrepreneurship - and of course unique source materials. An increasing number of high school projects are being written based on the source materials in the business archives we hold.
