Our school activities aim to give more gymnasium-level students the chance to work with the archives we manage - for lessons in source criticism, entrepreneurship, history, photography, marketing, social studies, and more. We welcome classes to visit us in Bromma - and to use our free educational site Företagskällan.se (Business Source, in loose translation). All free of charge for the school - and run by our learning officer Charlotta Skorup.
School Visits - Physical or Digital
Come to Bromma! We welcome school classes to visit Bromma, free of charge. Receive a lecture of your choice (here are some themes) and, of course, an archive visit!
Visit us digitally! Can't get to Bromma? Then instead have a digital workshop or lecture – on the same themes. With lots of archival documents and other sources as examples.
Use Företagskällan
Our school site Företagskällan is packed with primary sources and school materials about the history of Swedish business. All free of charge - and adapted to the current gymnasium curriculum. Meet the entrepreneurs and organizations that have contributed to Sweden's development. Everything from the tech giants of the 1800s to today's startups: technology companies, food companies, publishing houses, merchants, grocery chains, clothing and fashion giants, design companies - and many more.
Write your gymnasium thesis - based on real sources
Use the primary sources in our archives as the basis for your gymnasium thesis. As help, we have developed a digital reading room, where students can search source material directly online. Your imagination sets the limits. Read more about how it works here.
