The conference is part of the larger EU-funded research project The Enterprise of Culture (EOC): International Structures and Connections in the Fashion industry since 1945, led by Professor Regina Lee Blaszsyk at the University of Leeds.

Researchers from the universities of Leeds, Erasmus Rotterdam, Oslo, Newcastle, St Andrews, and Heriot-Watt participate in the project. Associated partners are the Centre for Business History and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. You can read more about the EOC project here.
