Hestra won SvD Business Achievement Award

The winner of the SvD Business Achievement Award 2025 is the family business Hestra, where several generations of Magnusson have put glove making on the entreprenuership map.

The company's CEO and family received the award at the Swedish Championship in Young Entrepreneurship, UF, at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö.

The jury's full justification reads:
"From the small town of Hestra in Småland, Swedish glove making reaches hands all over the world. For four generations, the Magnusson family, with craftsmanship skill and innovation, has shown that it is possible to go far by sticking to what you believe in. A business feat that demonstrates how long-term commitment and uncompromising quality can create global success."

By the way, new in the jury for SvD Business Achievement Award is our newly appointed CEO Anders Sjöman, who replaced outgoing CEO Alexander Husebye.

Anders Sjöman has written teaching cases for Harvard Business School, developed online language schools for EF Education, and worked as a communications consultant at Springtime. In 2015, he joined the Centre for Business History as Head of Communication and Client Projects. Since May 2025, he is the company's CEO. Anders Sjöman is CEO at Centre for Business History in Stockholm.
