Katherine Maher, exective director for the Wikimedia Foundation, gave the opening keynote at the ICA SBA 2017 conference in Stockholm on 5 April 2017. She spoke about transparency and the role that business archives can play in supporting that.

Since July 2016, Katherine Maher is the executive director for the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that is behind Wikipedia and its sister projects. In April 2017, she spoke at the ICA SBA 17 conference about the importance of transparency and the role that business archives can play in a fact-resistent world.

The ICA SBA conference is an annual conference for business archives, organized by the International Council on Archives’ (ICA) Section on Business Archives (SBA). The April 2017-edition was organized by the Centre for Business History in Stockholm.
