Kamprad is an entrepreneur for all times

Ingvar Kamprad is the greatest Swedish entrepreneur of all time, at least according to Svenska Dagbladet's readers.

When the 12,388 votes were counted in the competition Entrepreneur of All Time, there was no doubt that Ikea's founder was the one who took home the prize. On May 26, during the Swedish Championship in UF Entrepreneurship at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö, a moved and happy Ingvar Kamprad received the award from Prince Daniel's hand and afterwards he gave a long thank you speech in front of a cheering audience.

The competition Entrepreneur of All Time was organized by Svenska Dagbladet together with the Centre for Business History. During the spring, the public has been able to vote for their favorite entrepreneur on SvD Näringsliv's site.
