Soon, private individuals interested in business history will have the chance to more easily access our activities and meet like-minded people. The Friends Association of the Centre for Business History is about to launch.
A constituent meeting will take place on May 27. See the calendar for more information and registration. A provisional board has already been formed with Lennart Francke as chairman. They are working under the temporary name Friends of Business History and hope that the friends association will be able to gather both the private members who already exist within the Centre for Business History as well as new interested parties.
The purpose of the friends association is for members to have the opportunity to experience business historically interesting environments, get acquainted with unique archival material and unique objects from our archives, take part in and exchange thoughts on historical entrepreneurial profiles and also meet business profiles of today. And not least, in a pleasant setting, meet others with the same interest in business history.
If you are already a private member of the Association Centre for Business History, you can be part of the friends association in 2013 at no extra cost.
