We want to tell the story of the legendary Skeppshult bicycle and are looking for you who have worked at the bicycle factory or in some other way have a connection to the factory, the town, or the bicycle. Share your story!
In 1911, Albert Samuelsson in Skeppshult started manufacturing bicycles, soon under the name Skogsstjärnan. 110 years later, the legacy is maintained by brothers Jonas and Magnus Andersson, who have taken the Skeppshult bicycle into a new era without compromising on tradition, quality, and craftsmanship. Now the Center for Business History tells the fantastic story of the Skeppshult bicycle in a book, which also portrays Sweden's winding road into the modern age.
If you have worked at the bicycle factory in Skeppshult or in other ways have a connection to the factory and the town – do you have stories or perhaps pictures from there? Or maybe from your life as an owner of a Skeppshult bicycle? We are interested in all exciting sources, all memories and stories!
