What took place during the intense years 1850-1918 when Russia was the great market that attracted entrepreneurs and fortune seekers to start companies in the Tsarist empire? Where can the source material about this exciting period be found and what happened to the companies and people when the revolution struck? About fifty participants from Russia, Sweden, and Germany gathered at the Literary Academy's premises in Stockholm to discuss just this. Unique material on Swedish-Russian relations at the beginning of the 20th century was presented during the symposium.
