On April 29, the Museum of Technology (Tekniska museet) opens its new main exhibition "The Dreamland" (Drömlandet), a large-scale experience that takes the visitor through 200 years of Swedish history. It depicts how a poor agricultural country has developed into a global innovation nation through technology, ideas, and social changes.
"In the exhibition, we have formulated a winding story about how people created the technology country Sweden. The Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology has taken an exciting initiative, and it has been a pleasure to participate in such an ambitious exhibition project." - Anders Houltz, Associate Professor, Head of Research at the Centre for Business History
The exhibition combines historical objects, archival materials, and engaging installations, from steam engines to the breakthrough of digitization. We learn about technological breakthroughs, visions, and faith in the future, but also about the consequences of technology.

Several experts have contributed to the content work, including Anders Houltz, research director and associate professor, and Benito Peix Geldart, researcher and archivist, from the Centre for Business History.
Drömlandet is an exhibition that engages, challenges, and inspires – a must for anyone who wants to understand Sweden's history and future.
