Today we are called the Center for Business History and manage one of the world's largest business history archives with documents, images, films, and objects – to the delight of our member companies, researchers, and teachers who get inspired by the material. Based on the archives, we also tell the history of companies – on historical websites, in lectures, books, exhibitions, TV programs, and articles. History connects and provides context, for individuals as much as for companies.
– We are right on time. History is more important than ever to create context and highlight brands and corporate culture. Swedish companies today use history in communication and marketing on a completely different level than just ten years ago, says Alexander Husebye.
To celebrate the 40 years that have passed, the employees have selected their personal favorites from the archives' collections. These have now been gathered in the book Arkiverat! which will be presented at the anniversary celebrations on November 6. Just in time for the anniversary, we have also taken the opportunity to update our logo and graphic profile.
