We went to Detroit for this year’s ICA/SBA conference

Our CEO Anders Sjöman and archivist Martin Ahrenbring Månson participated in this year's ICA Section on Business Archives conference.

120 corporate archivists from around the world gathered in September at Ford Motors in Detroit.

Every year the international business archives group Section on Business Archives, SBA (a subsection of the International Council on Archives, ICA) holds an annual conference. This year Ford Motors in Detroit hosted the gathering, which brought together 120 business archivists and historians from around the world.

From our side, our CEO Anders Sjöman and archivist Martin Ahrenbring Månson participated. Anders also gave a short presentation on how we at the Centre for Business History work with social media with a special focus on moving images.

Next year the conference will be held in Brussels on September 21-22: icasba2026.com
