Since 2014, Svenska Dagbladet has been awarding the Business Achievement of the Year - which this year went to BioArctic. The publicly listed pharmaceutical company has grown from a small academic research company to one of the world's leading in neurodegenerative diseases. The company's drug Leqembi is the first widely approved disease-modifying treatment for Alzheimer's. The award was presented by Prince Daniel at the Swedish Championships in Ung Företagsamhet yesterday, May 26.
Our former CEO Alexander Husebye was one of the driving forces when the award was established in 2014 and we have been on the jury since then, now with CEO Anders Sjöman.
