The association was constituted at a meeting at the Tändstickspalatset. The financier Olof Stenhammar began the evening by entertainingly recounting his exciting life. During the actual meeting, it was decided that the following people will take seats in the first board of the friends' association:
- Lennart Francke, Head of Group Finance at Swedbank and board member of CfN
- Martin Joanson, facility manager at SEB
- Kerstin Stigmark, former research secretary at the Riksbank's Jubilee Fund
- Sara Johansson, editor at CfN
- Per Dahl, editor at CfN
Bengt Telland was elected auditor with solid experience from SEB and his role as the King's economic advisor.
The purpose of the friends' association is for members to have the opportunity to experience company history-interesting environments, get acquainted with unique archival material and unique items from our archives, participate in and exchange ideas about historical entrepreneurial profiles and also meet today's business profiles. And not least, to meet others with the same interest in business history in a pleasant setting.
More information about the friends' association and its activities will eventually be available here on the website. If you are interested in joining or just want to know more, contact per.t.h.dahl@naringslivshistoria.se.
