Author and publisher Peter Luthersson, an important person for us at the Centre for Business History, has passed away at 70 years.
Author, former culture chief at Svenska Dagbladet, and publisher Peter Luthersson has sadly passed away. It was as publisher at Atlantis Publishing that we first got to know Peter as the generous humanist he was. We collaborated, among other things, on the publication of biographies about Sofia Gumaelius, Hakon Swenson, and Gustaf de Laval.
When we then took the step to start our own publishing house, Förlaget Näringslivshistoria, he was always ready with good advice and tips. Peter truly understood the meaning of giving voice to the entrepreneurs of the business community, both women and men. The collaboration continued during his time at the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation and the archival work that is so successfully carried out at the group's archive facilities in Engelsberg.
A strong humanist voice has fallen silent far too early.
