The newly released book Arkivism: en handbok (Volante, 2021) is a handbook on how we can all ensure that women leave a mark. Partly by finding the women hidden in our archives, and partly by archiving ourselves and others. Kulturnyheterna and Stockholms Kvinnohistoriskas Lina Thomsgård visited us at the Centre for Business History to talk about the book's message and purpose.
In the book, journalists, researchers, and archivists share their best tips on how you can find women in the archives and preserve the history of today's women.
Here you can watch the entire segment (about 10 minutes into the program)
At the Centre for Business History, we have long worked to highlight women's history and encourage female entrepreneurs to preserve their archives and tell their stories. More stories about enterprising women can be found on our site BizStories, among our books and podcasts.
