The motivation from the renowned jury reads: "By looking for talents in places overlooked by others, they started an entrepreneurial journey that is one in a million. Along the way, they have contributed to solving one of society's acute problems. An impressive feat, and a true testament to the strong power of entrepreneurship."
The CEO of Centrum för Näringslivshistoria, Alexander Husebye, has been part of the jury for SVD's Business Achievement Award since 2014 when the prize was established. He comments:
"It is entrepreneurship that solves problems where politics falls short. It is heart and soul and they solve a real problem. I am also struck by the fact that they do not think politically, but from a business perspective."
The award was presented by Prince Daniel in collaboration with Ung Företagsamhet on May 23.
