Since 1974, the Centre for Business History in Stockholm preserves and presents the history of Swedish business. Our professional archivists maintains corporate archives for management and owners, and also help them leverage their own history for future developments. In addition, we also spread the general history of Swedish business life, initiating research and book projects.
We are a non-profit organiztion with companies and organizations as our members. We are not affiliated with any specific university or organization. We finance our activities with membership fees and revenues from the services we offer. These wervices are offered from our service company, Centrum för Näringslivshistoria AB, which is wholly-owned by the non-profit organization. Our research projects are financed by scientific funds and research grants.
