Representatives from Saint Petersburg's archival authorities were visiting Stockholm for several days. On the first day, the Russian colleagues were introduced to CfN's way of working, but the visit was also very rewarding from a Swedish perspective.
– We discussed research in Russian archives to map Swedish companies in Tsarist Russia and also planned a conference in Stockholm in November, says CEO Alexander Husebye.
During the visit, the guests also met the National Archivist and colleagues at Stockholm City Archives. The Nobel Museum also hosted them.
Present on the first day was also the Russian ambassador Igor Neverov.
– It felt especially nice because he has personally shown great interest in our Russian-Swedish project, says Alexander Husebye.
