Our staff

Most of us work from Bromma, some work at the Uppsala depot - or are on the road, maybe at our Håbo depot or with a customer somewhere in the country.

Anders Sjöman

CEO

Anders Sjöman has written teaching cases for Harvard Business School, developed online language schools for EF Education, and worked as a communications consultant at Springtime. In 2015, he joined the Centre for Business History as Head of Communication and Client Projects. Since May 2025, he is the company's CEO.

Anders Houltz

Head of Research, Associate Professor

Anders Houltz is Associate Professor in the History of Science and Technology and Research Director at the Centre for Business History. His doctoral dissertation, published in 2003, deals with inter-war period industrial display politics in relation to the Gothenburg Jubilee Expo of 1923. His research ranges from business history and industrial heritage to museum display and representation.

Anders Johnson is a writer, focused on Swedish business history. He has written or contributed to over 150 books.

Author. Russia expert. August Prize winner. One of the world's leading experts on the Russian poet and author Vladimir Mayakovsky.

Edward Blom

Writing fellow

Business historian and archivist Edward Blom worked for 15 years at the Centre for Business History. He was previously the editor of the magazine Företagshistoria (Business History). And continues to write for the magazine and work with us in other ways.

Eva Ersson Åbom

Consultant Business History

Eva Ersson Åbom was a business history consultant at the Centre for Business History for many years and retired in the summer of 2019. Her great interest and passion for business history, however, did not.

Martin Kragh

Head of the Stockholm Centre for Eastern Europan Studies.

Martin Kragh is head of the Stockholm Centre for Eastern Europan Studies. He received his PhD in 2009 with a dissertation on Russian economic history at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Business historian and writer Per Dahl helps companies, organizations, and individuals to effectively direct, formulate, and present their ideas. Former editor of our magazine Företagsminnen (now called Företagshistoria).

Board

The board of the non-profit Föreningen Centrum för Näringslivshistoria is elected at the annual general meeting, usually held in May, where all members of the association have the right to vote. The board shall represent both member companies as well as research and business. Here you will find our statutes.
